TRAINERS HIT JACKPOT!
The new QGBOTA Trainers Jackpot will be soon be kicking off for the 2007/2008 year.
Below is an amended fixtures list of allocated jackpot races at the four clubs, which will now be starting in August 2007.
The amendment is a result of our rule that you must be a financial member of the QGBOTA for one month before the race.
With our renewal date being 30th June, giving us only one week until our original first jackpot race, it was obvious we needed to push it back for another month, allowing more time for members and new members to join and be involved in the new jackpot.
The QGBOTA has earmarked a selection of races at four tracks (Brisbane, Gold Coast, Ipswich and Capalaba) which will have a jackpot starting at $50 riding on it.
If the trainer of the winning dog of these races is a QGBOTA Member, they will win the jackpot, if the winning trainer is not a member of the QGBOTA the $50 will jackpot to the next allocated race at the same club next month.
The jackpot at each club will be independent of each other, so the QGBOTA will in effect be running four jackpots, one for each club, once a month. Each club will be given a week of the month, with Capalaba being week 1, Gold Coast week 2, Ipswich week 3 and Albion Park week 4.
We will be placing posters of the fixture list and rules at clubs soon.
The QGBOTA is very excited about this new jackpot program and we would like as many trainers involved as possible, so we invite you to become a member of the QGBOTA for $10 (single) or $15 (family) and not only be involved in the jackpot but also help support and be part of our organisation.
